Emily aims to create a nonjudgmental space that is warm, genuine, and collaborative, helping her clients find relief and feel truly seen. Individuals often share that Emily’s compassionate approach and sense of humor allows them to be their authentic selves. Together, Emily and her clients use various evidence-based techniques to explore, heal, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Emily specializes in working with anxiety disorders/OCD, PTSD, and depression as well as supporting those who are navigating life transitions. Emily works with her clients to identify goals that matter to them and create a roadmap to achieve them.
Taking the first steps toward therapy can be intimidating, but Emily helps you feel at ease as she works with you to find the best fit for you.
Emily earned her Master’s in Education from Cambridge College in Mental Health Counseling. She also has a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and has experience working internationally within health systems. She has received specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Exposure & Response Prevention therapy.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys illustrating, creative projects, and nature walks to spot blue herons. You might also find Emily’s large cat, Louie, asleep in the background of many sessions.
