Megan Moran is dedicated to helping clients overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. She works with individuals, families, and couples, offering therapy that empowers clients and fosters a safe, welcoming space. Megan specializes in supporting neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD, Autism, and anxiety, while also addressing issues like depression, trauma, self-esteem, and major life transitions such as divorce, retirement, parenting, and loss.
When working with families, Megan provides expert guidance in navigating school systems and IEPs, ensuring children receive the support they need to succeed both academically and emotionally. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and working collaboratively to create a therapeutic environment where trust, connection, and healing are prioritized. Whether helping clients improve emotional regulation or navigate difficult transitions, Megan focuses on each individual’s needs and goals, making therapy a meaningful and transformative experience.
Megan’s expertise is backed by extensive training and experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College (2007) and is certified by the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Throughout her career, Megan has worked in diverse settings, including community health centers, schools, and outpatient clinics. She supports clients of all ages, from underserved populations to those navigating complex social and emotional challenges. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with holistic mental health care, tailored to meet each client where they are.
In her downtime, Megan enjoys exploring her creative side through painting, spending time in nature by lakesides, and cherishing moments with her husband, son, and dog. Her passion for art, wildlife, and family brings a sense of balance and fulfillment that enriches both her personal life and professional practice.
